Every ring tells a story. Every seat shapes the future.
Take Root is DIRT's annual fundraiser and a chance to bring our community together to celebrate progress, recognize champions of inclusive employment, and invest in a future where neurodivergent and disabled individuals have equitable access to meaningful work.
As Colorado celebrates 150 years, we're reflecting on the growth that happens over time. Like the rings of a tree, every generation leaves its mark. Each ring tells a story of challenges, resilience, and progress. Together, those rings create something stronger than any one season alone.
This year, we'll honor the individuals, families, businesses, advocates, self-advocates, and community partners who helped expand opportunities for neurodivergent and disabled individuals across Colorado. We'll celebrate how far we've come while asking an important question: Who needs a seat at the table for the next generation of change?
Join us for brunch, coffee, cocktails and mocktails, a silent auction, inspiring stories of impact, and the recognition of our 2026 Ambassador of the Year. Together, we'll celebrate the roots that brought us here and help shape a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive

“I feel I have grown so much… in terms of confidence and belief in myself… Doing the internship at DIRT was probably the best decision I've ever made.”
